Abstract
Small Scale Digital Device Forensics (SSDDF) is a relatively new and
rapidly changing field of study which is in dire need of direction.
Specifically, the devices and their corresponding forensic processes and
procedures are vague and in a perpetual state of uncertainty. The
purpose of this paper was to develop an ontological to provide law
enforcement with the appropriate knowledge regarding the devices found
in the SSDD domain.
Additionally, this ontology can be used as a method to further develop a set of standards and procedures at which to approach SSDD.
